A few other in-state schools are also expressing interest in the 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive lineman.
"I am getting a lot of interest from Florida and South Florida," Guerad said. "They both want me to camp. I think if I do real well then they will offer me.
"UCF and Miami are also interested in me," Guerad added.
Guerad is set to hit the road starting this weekend. He will take a number of visits during the summer months.
"I am going on a bus tour starting this weekend which will take us to Auburn, Georgia, North Carolina, and North Carolina State," Guerad said. "I think I am also going to go to the Miami camp and USF's camp."
As for making a decision, Guerad is not in a rush at this time.
"After my football season is over with," Guerad said. "I plan to take my official visits before I make a decision."
As a junior, Guerad recorded 32 tackles two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
