Offer No. 1 is in for 2012 Virginia star

Offers are picking up for the 2012 class. Yesterday one junior from Virginia nabbed his first Division I offer from an ACC team.
"I got my first offer yesterday from Virginia," Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside 2012 wide receiver Anthony Cooper said. "I'm very excited about the offer. It's a good school and a school I've been looking at since the beginning of the season. I'm glad they let me go to their school."

Cooper claims Mike London made a trip to his school and informed his coach.
"He was at practice and my coach told me they saw my game and like my ability."
So, what does Cooper think about Virginia?
"That's a good school," he stated. "It's a good academic school and the coaching staff is good. They are high on my list right now."
Cooper claims he is eyeing a trip to Charlottesville soon, but has yet to plan it.
Meanwhile, other schools are coming in.
"I'm getting interest from Virginia Tech, Maryland, Oregon, UCLA, North Carolina and Stanford," he said. "I get a lot of mail from Miami, Duke, NC State and Syracuse."
Cooper claims a few schools stick out right now.
"Virginia is high on my list along with Syracuse, West Virginia and Oregon," he said. "With the others, Maryland was the first school to send mail and give a real good look at me. Syracuse was the second team to send stuff, West Virginia has been on me and Oregon is a big one for me. It's all the way on the West Coast. They send mail too."
Cooper and Bayside are one game away from reaching the championship.
"The season is going great," he said. "We have one more game against Hermitage. We've got to take care of business.
"If we play our game we'll do well. We just have to go out and play the way we know how to play."
To date on the year, Cooper has posted 37 receptions for 736-yards and 15 touchdowns.
