Offer No. 1 comes for OG Durant
Offer No. 1 came in recently for Vienna (Va.) Oakton offensive guard Chris Durant. The 6-foot-4, 268-pounder pulled the offer this past weekend on a visit.
"I got an offer from Old Dominion last Saturday," he said. "It was nice to get the first one.

"It is I-AA and I want to play Division I. But, I went down there to visit and I liked the coaching staff. The facilities are really nice and the practice stuff and game field are all nice too."
Durant is in the midst of a few visits having tripped to NC State last weekend with plans for a visit to Boston College coming up.
"NC State told me they had my highlights, but there was a glitch, so as soon as they get the new ones they'll get back to me. The coaches were really interested though."
In addition, Duke, James Madison and Yale are interested in Durant.
"A lot of schools want to see more of me," he said. "Virginia Tech said the only way they'd offer me is if I came to camp."
So, does Durant like anybody?
"Duke is my highest right now," he said. "I've liked them forever and I go to North Carolina all the time, two or three times a year. I really like their campus too."
