Offer list grows for Ohio star

Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne star Donnie Evege continues to add to his list of scholarship offers. However one thing that has not changed is the school at the top of Evege's list.
"I don't know exactly how many offers I have," Evege said. "Let's see, Ohio State, Purdue, Miami of Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Washington have offered. And Marshall has also offered.

"I'm definitely still looking at Ohio State hard. Without a doubt, Ohio State is still No. 1."
But that doesn't mean Buckeyes fans can expect Evege to commit to Ohio State in the very near future.
"I'm just going through the recruiting process," Evege said. "I'm trying not to let it get too stressful. Ideally I'd like to decide sometime before my first game, hopefully around the middle of July."
Evege is working on his summer football camp schedule.
"There's a chance I could fit in several in June," he said. "I'm going through scheduling stuff right now. I plan to go to one of the Ohio State camps either June 3 or June 23. More than likely I'll attend one of the senior camps."
While the Buckeyes are clearly the leader for Evege, he is talking to the others in contact.
"I've had calls from West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Marshall, Washington, Purdue -- almost everyone on my list," Evege said. "Ohio State hasn't called yet. I think they want to be the last one."
The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound Evege is a dynamic performer on both sides of the ball. He played cornerback, safety and running back during his junior season.
"I think more than likely I'll play defensive back in college," Evege said.
