OBrien recaps Big 10 visit

Patrick O'Brien had an excellent trip to Nebraska recently but the three-star quarterback who has had a tremendous offseason is not ready to make a commitment anywhere just yet.
"I enjoyed myself," O'Brien said. "I had a really good time. They did a great job.

"I sat down with coach (Mike) Riley for about 30 minutes and kind of talked about Nebraska and life, a little bit of football, just trying to get to know him as a person and he was trying to get to know me. We were kind of feeling each other out and it was a good time.
"I sat down with coach (Danny) Langsdorf and went over their offense. We just discussed the depth chart and how I would fit if I went there."
Nebraska along with Colorado, Colorado State, Texas Tech and UNLV have offered O'Brien, who said he was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in Lincoln.
The San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) San Juan Hills prospect seemed to enjoy his Nebraska trip greatly but he still wants to take his time with the recruiting process.
"I was pretty surprised by the town," O'Brien said.
"I was thinking more farm-like but it seemed like there were a lot of things to do there. We went out to a restaurant and it was really good. I really enjoyed it. I would love 93,000 fans to come watch me every Saturday. That would be amazing."
As for a decision, O'Brien does not want to rush. USC and others continue to show interest and the three-star quarterback said he wants to take his time and see how everything plays out before getting locked in with a school.
"I'm not sure yet," O'Brien said. "I'm not completely sure about committing or anything like that but I'm just taking my time with it."
