Four-star Michigan defensive tackle Danny O'Brien has a busy summer so a lot can change between now and the time when he makes his decision but he's making some news with comments he's making about a couple of schools that he's high on.
While O'Brien, a 6-foot-2, 293-pound defensive tackle from Flint (Mich.) Powers Catholic, hasn't trimmed his list yet he's been giving a lot of thought to that lately.
In fact, O'Brien recently said that he plans on narrowing his list to five by the end of the summer.

Now he knows of at least two (and almost three) schools that will make that first cut.
"Tennessee is definitely on there," O'Brien explained. "Michigan State will be there and I think Alabama. But definitely Tennessee and Michigan State for now."
That shouldn't come as much of a surprise but it is a development. O'Brien has long been high on the Spartans and he has already visited Tennessee three times.
What does the future hold for O'Brien?
"I'm going out to Iowa over next weekend, (June) 19, to take a visit out there. I did go down there my sophomore year right around this time for a camp, so I know a little bit about the place," he said. "I didn't get to see much of it since it was just a camp. It wasn't a tour of the facilities or the school or anything.
"I know in July I'll be going out to Alabama, Tennessee and possibly Florida."
