Oaks Christian OL lands offer

Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian continues to pump out high profile recruits year after year and it looks like the class of 2008 is no exception. Offensive tackle Trace Biskin, who is 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, picked up his first offer this week, according to his father.
"He received an offer from the Purdue University football program," Ron Biskin, Trace's father, said.

The offer come as no surprise to Oaks Christian coach Bill Redell.
Redell has sung Biskin's praises for quite some time.
Biskin has good speed and quickness for a big man. He's also pretty athletic as he plays on the basketball team.
"Trace could be special because he has the size and the athleticism of a D-I prospect," Redell said. "He certainly passes the eye test. Both USC and Notre Dame liked what they saw of him in the weight room."
Biskin joins teammate, Christopher Owusu, as players that have offers from Oaks Christian. Owusu is a 6-foot-1, 177-pound playmaking receiver. He's picked up offers from BYU, Duke, Ole Miss, Stanford, UNLV and Nevada.
