Oakland Park lineman has two offers

Oakland Park (Fla.) Northeast offensive lineman Mike Flash has picked up two scholarship offers to date and he hopes there are more to come. The versatile and powerful two-way star will continue to see his stock rise as his name gets out.
"I picked up a couple of offers from FAU and FIU," Flash said. "They came in about a month ago. I'm kind of interested in them but I'm trying to pick up some others."

One school in particular interests Flash.
"I'm more interested in UConn," he said. "They're just waiting on my test scores really. I like their running style and I like the program they have working there."
South Florida, West Virginia and MTSU are some of the other schools that have showed interest in the 6-foot-2, 305-pound center. However, Flash could potentially be recruited on the defensive side of the ball as well.
"I play D-tackle too," he said. "I like it. It's pretty fun. I would prefer play center in college but if not I would play defense."
This summer, Flash is working on his quickness and getting ready to see some time at both sides of the ball.
"I'm working on my feet," he said. "I'm already strong. I'm benching like 385."
