Oakland athlete has bloodlines

Oakland (Calif.) McClymonds could have up to four division one prospects for the class of 2005. Rivals.com has already introduced you to their star quarterback Kyle Reed who is one of the best quarterbacks in the west.
Another McClymonds player to keep your eye on is linebacker/fullback Bryant Gray (5-10, 215, 4.6).

Gray has good bloodlines; his brother is Cal Bear freshman wide receiver David Gray.
“Bryant projects as a linebacker, but is talented enough to play fullback on the next level,” McClymonds head coach Alonzo Carter said. “He has real soft hands and he's a punishing blocker.”
“Bryant is very physical and plays the game with a lot of energy,” Carter said. “He also has great leadership skills and was voted our most inspirational player.”
Gray has good strength. His bench is 335-pounds and his squat is 420.
Gray was second on the team in tackles with 103; he also tallied up 15 tackles for loss, three sacks and two picks in 2003.
On offense Gray was used primarily as a blocker but still he rushed for over 200 yards and scored two touchdowns.
The only knock on Gray is his height.
Cal is doing a standout job recruiting the Bay Area and the Bears have shown some interest in Gray. San Jose State and San Diego State are interested in Gray in the early going.
