O’Hagan impressing on the field

Minneapolis (Minn.) Breck dual-threat quarterback Liam O’ Hagan has been putting up big numbers this fall and has three offers to show for his talents. Five schools are currently in the race for the Rivals.com No. 7 rated prospect in Minnesota, but he wants to take a look at all of them before making a final decision.
Harvard, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, and Colorado are the current leaders for Liam’s services, each one for different reasons. What does he like about these schools?

“Harvard is a place where I think I could get to play the most and get the best education,” he commented. “Virginia is where I could possibly win a national title. Vanderbilt, I loved my visit (Oct.17), and I could be a part of a program on the rise.
“Minnesota, I like how it’s home, and a lot of my friends would be around. It’s a top-notch program.
“Colorado, I like the mountains. I could ski and play teams like Texas and Oklahoma.”
In addition to his trip to Virginia, O’Hagan also plans to visit Harvard, Colorado, and possibly Illinois, probably in December. He wants to wait to make a decision until he has seen all of his top schools. So far Minnesota, Vanderbilt, and Boston College are the schools that have extended scholarship offers.
As a senior field general, the 6-foot-2, 205 pound athlete with a 4.7 second 40-yard dash time has completed 150-220 passes for 2550 yards—an amazing 68 percent completion rate. He has also thrown 40 touchdown passes in just ten games.
As good an athlete as he is, Liam is just as good in the classroom. He currently boasts a 3.4 GPA and has already scored an 1,180 on the SAT.
