NYs Holy Cross has two more D-I prospects

Michael Hay and Kevin Williams are the big names coming out of Flushing (N.Y.) Holy Cross in 2007, but the Knights have two other potential Division I prospects to keep an eye on in athlete Tonev Abraham and linebacker Spiros Cominos. What makes these players stand out?
Abraham is a 6-foot-1, 190-pounder.

"Tonev is a late bloomer and is really coming on strong for us now," said Holy Cross head coach Tom Pugh. "He is a tremendous athlete and we're even considering using him as our quarterback next year because of his athleticism. He can run and has a real nice arm. I'm really not sure where he'll end up in college because he can play so many positions."
Right now, Abraham has received interest from Syracuse, Rutgers, Maryland, Penn State, Connecticut and others. He has a junior day scheduled with Syracuse this weekend.
Last season Abraham accounted for over 600 yards of offense and 6 touchdowns.
Linebacker Spiro Cominos is an impressive specimen at 6-foot-3, 240-pounds.
"He's a linebacker that can cover the whole field, he's a sideline to sideline guy," Pugh said. "He's real fast. I believe he runs right around a 4.5-second 40. Spiro is also a very touch and physical player. He's our strongest guy in the weight room and has plenty of room to bulk up. Right now he is real trim at 240-pounds. I can see him gaining a lot as his brother got up to 290-pounds.
"Spiro has the potential to be a very good linebacker or defensive end at the next level. Right now, he has a junior day scheduled with Rutgers and has received interest from other schools like Maryland, Penn State, Syracuse and Connecticut. He's still getting overlooked a bit, but once teams see his film they'll love him."
Cominos registered 87 tackles, five sacks and one interception as a junior.
