NYs Edwards is taking visits

Staten Island (N.Y.) Tottenville running back Augustus Edwards holds five offers. The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder visited one of the schools recently and plans to head to another this week.
"A couple weeks ago I went to Connecticut for junior day," he said. "I'm also going up to Syracuse on Wednesday for a visit."

How was Connecticut?
"I liked it a lot," he said. "I liked the buildings and field they have for football. The weight room and facilities really caught my eye. I even spoke to the head coach for a little bit.
"It was good. He was just telling me how I fit in the offense and how they really want me down there."
Edwards is hoping to see more on his trip to Syracuse.
"I just want to get a tour of the school and the dome. I want to see how the school is."
In addition to the five offers, Edwards is receiving looks from Indiana and Penn State among others.
Does he have any favorites?
"Every school at this point is an option for me right now," he said. "I want somewhere that the coaches can help me improve in football and somewhere I can get a good education. I just want to get better."
As a junior, Edwards ran for 1,411-yards and 16 touchdowns.
