NY WR gaining interest

Rochester (N.Y.) Bishop Kearney 2014 wide receiver JoJo Gause holds one offer to date. The 6-foot-4, 198-pounder has a variety of other schools taking an interest, and discussed if he has any early favorites.
"I have an offer from Old Dominion," he said. "I got it in June. It's all right. I've visited them and I liked it there. I went to their campus around July 21st."

Meanwhile, Gause has other schools looking.
"I've got Syracuse, Pittsburgh a little bit, obviously Old Dominion, Rutgers and I have visited Temple," he said. "I was supposed to visit Virginia Tech this summer, but I didn't. I have been to Syracuse and Rutgers this summer."
Gause has a connection with Rutgers since his brother, Quentin Gause, is a linebacker there.
"We're close and it's kind of big he's there. He likes to help me with everything," he said. "Rutgers is a good school. I like their coaches and how they play. They are getting better all the time."
Gause claims Rutgers and Old Dominion are two of three teams that have impressed early.
"So far, I kind of like Rutgers, Syracuse and Old Dominion," he said.
"I like the way the coaches are at those schools. All of them are getting better from what I see and from when I visited campus. They are getting better as a school. It seems good around those programs too."
With Syracuse being his local program, Gause shared a couple of thoughts on the Orange.
"It's just close to home and it's a good program," he said.
Gause confirmed he intends to take visits this fall, but is unclear and where and when at this time.
Last season, Gause posted 30 receptions for approximately 369 yards and three touchdowns.
"I did alright last year," he said. "Our team is a passing team, but I was the second receiver to a senior that was leaving. I think I am elusive on the field. I do what I have to, to get it done."
