Noyer has interest from Pac-12

Sam Noyer had a solid performance in the first-ever Rivals Quarterback Challenge Presented By Under Armour at Fullerton College in Southern California last weekend, finishing in the top seven to earn a spot in the finals.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound prospect made the most of his trip down from Beaverton, Ore., showing great composure in an advanced setting. He looked smooth in every drill and had the necessary footwork that allowed him to make good throws throughout the event.

This upcoming weekend, the three-star quarterback will be back on the road as he'll travel to Las Vegas along with other top prospects from the Pacific Northwest to compete at the Pylon 7-on-7 national tournament. Things appear to be picking up on the recruiting front, too.
"I'm getting a lot of interest from Pac-12 schools like Washington State, Arizona State, Washington and Oregon a little bit," Noyer said. "It's going smoothly. I can say that right now. I'm hoping to land this first offer pretty soon and then just work from there.
"It's a busy time for me right now, but I'm enjoying it for sure."
Noyer said the Cougars are his most persistent suitor at the moment. Washington State, of course, features an appealing offense for quarterbacks that has caught Noyer's attention.
"Washington State is definitely talking to me the most right now," Noyer said. "It's going. A lot of schools are contacting me and I'm excited competing against some of the nation's best just to see how I compare and just keep working."
Some visits could be in order this spring and summer. Noyer mentioned Arizona State, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA and USC as possible destinations.
"I'm definitely excited to see what the future holds for me," Noyer said.
Noyer passed for over 2,000 yard and 19 touchdowns as a junior last year. He also plays basketball and baseball.
