Now it's Selvin Young's turn.
Earlier today, his Jersey Village teammate and best friend Micah Sweats committed to Texas Tech.
Wednesday will be the day for Young, the 6-foot, 195-pound blue chip running back with reported 4.36-second 40-yard dash speed.
"I'm going to announce something tomorrow," Young said of a likely commitment. "I know what I'm going to do, now I'm just down to saying it.
"I've got a school in my mind, so I just have to tell everybody."
Young said he plans to speak to the media about his decision sometime Wednesday afternoon.
While Young would not say which school he has chosen, he did say who the finalists were.
"It came down to Texas, OU and Colorado," Young said.
Young has already visited those three schools and also had an official visit lined up to Arkansas for later in January, but it doesn't appear like he'll be making that visit.
Young is a three-time all-district performer for Jersey Village. He rushed for more than 4,700 yards in his high school career and is ranked the No. 6 running back in the country by
