Novak headed to Rice

Things were going slow for Ennis, Texas wide receiver Andrew Novak. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder saw all that change last night when he was offered and made a quick decision.
After former Tulsa assistant Todd Graham was announced as the new head coach at Rice, he apparently got right to work. He offered the sleeper receiver and it didn't take long for the two-star Novak to make his decision.

"He offered me last night and I made my commitment for Rice," Novak said. "It was kind of a spur of the moment deal. I went from having no offers or no clue where I was going to go, and then I'm on my way."
"I'm really excited."
Tulsa and SMU were showing the most interest, according to Novak.
"Those schools had me on their list, but I didn't see that I was their No. 1 guy," he said. "That was about it Division I-wise. The dead period really was keeping things quiet for me."
"Now, I know where I'm going, and it's only a matter of time before I sign."
