Linebacker prospect Justin Hargrove out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Baldwin still holds two offers (Akron and Pitt), but is also getting a slew of interest from other schools.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder has been hearing recently from Notre Dame, North Carolina, Virginia and Harvard. Of those, Notre Dame has peaked the linebacker's interest.
"I really like that they're a prestigious school," he said. "But also the tradition they have, that's why I really like them."
What about Harvard?
"They interest me a little bit," he said. "But I'm looking at the big schools; I want to play at the top level."
Hargrove took a visit to Pittsburgh in March.
"The visit was real nice and informational," he said. "The new staff there is really good and I like the staff a lot and the NFL experience that is there. I talked to coach Dave Wannstedt and assistant coach Bob Junko. We had a good conversation and they showed a lot of interest too."
Hargrove is lifting weights and rehabbing his ankle during the off-season.
"My ankle is doing real good," he said. "My ankle is about 75% back and I'm feeling a lot better now."
This spring Hargrove plans to visit Penn State and then the Blue Chip Day at Pittsburgh on April 2nd.
Currently, Hargrove is still wide open in recruiting.
The linebacker prospect holds offers from Akron and Pittsburgh and has seen interest from West Virginia, Northwestern, Iowa, Maryland and Penn State.
Hargrove should have no problem qualifying as he holds a 3.5 GPA.
