Notre Dame lands NJ standout

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are doing just that -- fighting -- to put together a solid recruiting class. Their latest commitment will help.
"I committed to Notre Dame earlier today," said Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School safety/athlete Junior Jabbie. "I returned home from my Penn State visit and just knew in my heart that Notre Dame was the place for me. They have the best combination of athletics and academics for me and it's a great school."

Jabbie, a 6-foot-0, 185-pounder, will play cornerback or wideout at Notre Dame.
"They liked me because I can play a lot of positions," he said. "I prefer offense, but to play at Notre Dame I'll play anywhere."
Jabbie, a four-star recruit ranked as the No. 47 Juco/prep player in the country, chose the Irish over the Nittany Lions, Missouri, Boston College and Wake Forest.
"I'm happy it's over and happy with my decision," he said. "I can't wait to get started."
