Notre Dame Lands Commitment
"It was very nice," wide receiver Mike Richardson said moments ago when asked about his official visit to Notre Dame. "I decided to commit."
"The campus is beautiful. The people were real nice. And I was impressed with the football."

"Vontez Duff was my host. Wake Forest was my second choice."
Richardson, a 6-foot-1 and 180 pounder at Warner Robins (Ga.), caught 15 passes despite missing four games with injuries.
He made official visits to Notre Dame, Wake Forest, and Louisville. All three offered a scholarship.
