Notre Dame lands 4-star DT Donovan Jeter

In a surprise turn of events, four-star defensive lineman Donovan Jeter has announced his commitment to Notre Dame. The Beaver Falls, Pa. native took an official visit to South Bend over the weekend and that tipped the scales in favor of the Fighting Irish.

Jeter is a physically gifted defensive lineman that can play multiple positions across the defensive front. He has the frame to bulk up and play defensive tackle but he is also quick enough off the line of scrimmage to play the strongeside defensive end. Notre Dame has done a tremendous job recruiting western Pennsylvania in the 2017 class and has found many key recruits there. Notre Dame did an excellent job recruiting Jeter, considered by many to eventually land at Pittsburgh.
