Notre Dame Commit Eyeing Options

As of Dec. 3, Wayne Hills, N.J. quarterback Chris Olsen is still committed to Notre Dame.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Olsen had more than 30 offers before giving a verbal to the Irish over the summer and schools continue to contact him.

"Right now Chris is still committed to ND, but with the coaching change he might start to weigh other options," said Chris Olsen Sr. who is also the head coach at Wayne Hills. "We would love for things to work out at Notre Dame but we need to find out who the new coach will be and then sit down with that person and discuss Chris' future."

For now Olsen has no visits planned but that could change if things don't work out over the next week or so. Boston College, Penn State, NC State, Rutgers, Iowa and others are keeping close tabs on the situation.
