A pair of prospects from Atlanta's Grady High have picked up their first two scholarship offers, according to head football coach Ronnie Millen, who communicated the scholarship offers to Rivals.com by way of e-mail late Wednesday night.

Ole Miss has offered Grady linebacker Darryl Farley. The 6-foot, 205-pounder had 87 tackles and six sacks during his junior season.
Georgia Tech, Maryland, Mississippi State and others have also shown interest in Farley.
Wide receiver DeMarcus Watts, one of the metro area's top sleeper prospects, has been offered by Akron.
"I feel very good," Watts said. "This is something I've been waiting on for a while and not that I have received an offer, it makes me want to do even better on the field and in the classroom.
"Right now, I'm just so happy about this and my family is, too."
The 6-foot, 188-pound Watts first grabbed the attention of Rivals.com at the Atlanta NIKE Combine in February when he ran a 4.51-second 40-yard dash and 4.34 shuttle.
Watts also has been getting interest from Auburn, Maryland, Indiana, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
Both Grady prospects will be at the Athens NIKE Camp on Saturday at the University of Georgia.
Noles have stunning linebacker haul
It's not often that a program gets three linebackers like Nigel Carr, Nigel Bradham and Vincent Williams within the span of one week.
All three are some of the best linebacker prospects in the state of Florida and with that the country (the linebacker position is loaded in the Sunshine State in this cycle) for the Class of 2008.
The Noles don't appear to be finished at the position either. FSU has offered and is still in pursuit of Wichita (Kan.) East standout Arthur Brown (many feel it's between he and Bradham for the nation's top linebacker), Miami Northwestern tackling machine Sean Spence (nearly 200 tackles in 2006) and Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna's Jordan Futch (a great athlete with a 4.58-second 40-yard dash), who just received an offer this past week.
A revitalized recruiting effort gives the Florida State program needed momentum heading into next season.
More offers for Lake Worth stars
Lake Worth (Fla.) High head football coach Errick Lowe also was busy reporting updated offer lists for his prospects on Wednesday night.
Quarterback Star Jackson currently has full rides from Georgia, Purdue, Minnesota, Central Florida and Florida International.
Jackson was one of the better quarterback prospects at the Miami NIKE Camp on April 1 in Coral Gables, Fla.
Offensive guard Joe Looney also impressed at the camp. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder boasts offers from Rutgers, Alabama, South Carolina, Arizona State, Central Florida and Florida International, according to Lowe.
More offers for Saint Petersburg prospects
St. Petersburg (Fla.) Northeast running back Jeff Brinson picked up his second and third offers this week, from Purdue and Troy, respectively. The Boilermakers and Trojans join Iowa in offering the Pinellas County power back.
Troy also offered Northeast defensive lineman Javontae Boyd and athlete Armando Sanchez.
Boyd previously held and offer from Georgia. California and other schools have been showing interest in Sanchez.
This, that and the other
North Carolina and Texas A&M are the two most recent scholarship offers for Sardis (Miss.) North Panola defensive tackle Templeton Hardy. The 6-foot-4, 295-pounder could be the top prospect in the state of Mississippi in this year's class and already had multiple offers from Southeastern Conference. …Michigan State is the latest offer for Atlanta Banneker safety Darrell Simmons. … Middle Tennessee State is the first school to offer East Central (Miss.) Community College defensive back Jorrick Calvin.
