Not too much longer

Connor Smith of Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain has said he plans on making a decision on August 1 for quite some time now. But there have been a few changes lately for the 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive tackle that is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 84 player in the entire nation.
"I will have my decision made by August 1st, if not sooner," Smith said.

"I have two teams in mind and I'm really close to making my final decision. It could happen any day."
Now the general consensus is that those two teams are Ohio State and Michigan. Yet Smith, who is also ranked as the No. 4 player in Ohio, said that might not necessarily be true.
"The whole Ohio State and Michigan as my leaders was a misunderstanding," Smith said.
"They're both part of my top six, but they aren't the leaders, necessarily. My top six are Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida and LSU.
"I have been really impressed with coach (Urban) Meyer at Florida and coach (Jim) Tressel. I really like those two people. They're both good people and their beliefs match my beliefs. Their morals match my morals. I just really like those two guys a lot."
Smith said he just recently completed unofficial visits to both Tennessee and Florida. The trips were a success and he really liked both program's facilities.
"I really liked them both," he said.
"They have good facilities and great coaches. They're not only great coaches, but they're great people. I was really impressed."
Now the recruiting world waits to see what team has impressed him the most.
The good news is that the wait won't be too long.
