Not much changing for Bluegrass ATH

Louisville (Ky.) Waggener cornerback/athlete Alfonso Smith is one of the top athletes in the Bluegrass State for the class of 2004. He has had made it no secret that two schools stand out for his services, but which two?
“I would say that right now Kentucky and Boston College are still on top,” Smith said. “I’m also looking at Indiana, Miami-Ohio and Louisville pretty hard. All of my top five schools have offered.”

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Smith runs the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds. He has a 250-pound bench press and a 350-pound squat.
“I really liked my official visit to Boston College a few weeks back,” Smith said. “I still have trips coming up to Kentucky on December 3 and Indiana on December 10. I am still trying to set up my other two right now.”
As a junior, Smith rushed for 1,241 yards and 14 touchdowns while catching 17 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns. He also intercepted three passes on defense and had two special teams touchdowns.
“I know that I at least want to go ahead and take those other two official visits before I decide anything,” Smith said.
