Not just a big body

Strongside defensive end Tom Keiser out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) North Allegheny is an impressive 2007 specimen. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder's head coach Art Walker claims he is more than a just a big body.
"He obviously has good size, but he runs well and is a very lean prospect right now," he said. "He has the ability to easily put on 30 or 40 more pounds. He is a very tough player to block and moves side to side really well.

"Tom has what colleges are looking for with his long arms and a good reach. He also has an impressive motor and a great GPA."
Last season Keiser was named all-conference despite missing four games due to injury.
"He had a back injury last year, but it is fine now," he said. "Tom is completely back to full strength and has had a good offseason where I've seen him running well and getting stronger."
The defensive end prospect doesn't have any favorite schools at this time, but he is getting a lot of interest from schools like Virginia, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Syracuse, West Virginia and others.
This spring Keiser is considering going to the Nike Camp at Penn State. He is planning to attend the Boston College camp this summer.
