Not good news for Spivey
Spring (Texas) Westfield quarterback Mark Spivey got some news that he didn't want to hear.
"Missouri called me this week and told me they weren't going to bring in a quarterback," Spivey, a three-star quarterback that is 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds. "And when I called Baylor last Friday for my visit, they said I wasn't on their list."

So that has left Spivey to look at some smaller school options - Texas Southern this weekend and Prairie View on January 31.
Spivey has yet to fully qualify, but said he's a lot closer than people think and that he's hoping that another D-I program is going to give him a chance.
"They won't regret it," he said.
