Norwood sends message

Brandon, Miss., five-star running back Jerious Norwood has a message for Mississippi State fans.
"Rest easy, I might take some visits, but I'm still stable with my commitment," he said.

"I'm sure the State coaches know that I'm going to take a few other visits. I just want to check a few other schools out and take some trips. I wouldn't worry, though. I committed to State and plan on sticking with it at this point. So I wouldn't put a percentage or anything on it."
So who are the lucky teams that could get other visits?
"I'm going to visit Ole Miss and Tennessee for sure," Norwood said.
"I'd like to go visit Florida and Florida State. Coach Spurrier at Florida told me that committed players couldn’t take visits there, so I don't know if I'll ever make it there. I haven't talked to FSU in a while, but they talk to my momma all the time."
Norwood, who missed two games earlier this season because of a sprained MCL, is now back and tearing it up.
With a perfect 10-0 record and the final regular season game on schedule for this Friday, it's still going to be a while before he takes any visits.
"I'm tearing it up now," Norwood said. "I've rushed for 1,400 yards. I also broke the state record with 82 rushing touchdowns. The record was 78. I think I'm going to hit 100 before we're done."
