Norview features two to watch in 2010

Norfolk (Va.) Norview running back Stephen Sims is a player to watch. A variety of schools are already looking hard at the 5-foot-10, 200-pound bruising back according to his head coach Robert Toran.
"I see him as a Division I player, he's a pretty good football player that can run, catch and block," he said. "He has a different running style, he's a patient runner that takes three or four guys to bring him down. He makes you miss and knows when to stiff arm. He's also a hard worker and a good student."

Sims ran for 900-yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior on his way to all-district and all-Tidewater honors. He added 12 receptions for 325-yards and three touchdowns as well.
Who's looking at the Hampton Roads prospect?
"He's getting a lot of stuff, mostly mail from Boston College, Tennessee, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Duke and Old Dominion."
Sims isn't the only prospect to monitor at Norview, according to Toran there is a 6-foot-0, 265-pound linemn in offensive guard Jordan Smith to watch as well.
"He was first team all-district and I think if he hits the weight room hard he can sign somewhere," he said. "He is a strong kid that can play both ways.
"He's also a very good student, a 3.3 GPA. He has great leadership skills and outstanding knowledge of the game."
A few schools including Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Richmond, James Madison and Old Dominion are looking.
