Northwestern to snag Georgia TE

Georgia is always loaded with sleeper prospects that end up going elsewhere and become very good players. One such player that is a hit with college coaches from outside of the Southeast appears to be McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian two-star tight end/defensive end Alec Huber.
Hubuer, who is 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, has offers from Northwestern and Ohio. He took an unofficial visit to the Wildcats’ game against Kansas earlier this fall and plans on returning on December 3 for an official visit.

Make no mistake about it the Wildcats are Huber’s leader.
“They’re my No. 1 team,” he said. “I’m thinking about committing up there when I visit. I’m still looking at a few other things before I do, but I really think it would be a good fit for me. I want to major in mechanical engineering. I want to design engines.”
Hubuer is also talking with Ohio, but at this point has no plans to visit the Bobcats. Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Wake Forrest are also calling on a regular basis.
