Northwestern bags a TE commit
McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian two-star tight end Alec Huber said he was hoping to make a decision soon, so when he took an official visit this weekend to Northwestern it only made sense for him to go ahead and make it official.
“I committed to Northwestern on my official visit up there this weekend,” Huber, who is 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, said.

“I was always sold on the academics up there, but once I got a chance to hang out with the players and see what it’s like, it was an easy decision.”
Huber was also offered a scholarship by Duke, Furman and Ohio, but he had always listed the Wildcats near the top of his list.
