Northwestern and Iowa get visits

Pearland, Texas all-purpose back Brandon Roberson has had some schools call. But, he still doesn’t want to name one as a favorite.
“I’ve gotten calls from Iowa, Northwestern, Utah, Rice and Arizona,” he said. “Each of them took the time to talk and explain their situations to me. They were really good visits.”

The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Roberson holds two scholarship offers but didn’t want to name a favorite.
“I really don’t have a favorite,” he said. “I’m keeping things pretty open. Utah and Northwestern have offered me so far.”
Roberson doesn’t care where the school is he chooses, he just wants to feel comfortable.
“I don’t care if it is near home or further away,” he said. “I just want a good atmosphere to be around and a place I can feel like I’m at home.”
He has agreed to visit two schools in December.
“I will visit Northwestern and Iowa in December,” he said. “I don’t have any dates set, but I have told them I will be coming that month.”
Roberson, a two-star rated player, got his season off to a good start last weekend with a 175 yard rushing performance on 21 carries.
