Northwest star racks up offers

There is no doubt that cornerback/running back Leon Jackson (6-3, 200, 4.44) from Pasco, Wash., is one of the best two-way standouts in the west. He has the size to match-up with the taller wide receivers of today’s game and the speed to cover anyone. He’s also a very good running back.
On offense, Jackson rushed for 1,170 yards and scored 27 touchdowns. He had approximately 710 more receiving and return yards for total of 1,790 all-purpose yards, adding 11 more touchdowns.

On defense the offense opposed him like the plague and he still picked off three passes.
Jackson had a busy spring picking up offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Cal and Nebraska.
The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame are also taking a long look at Jackson but have not offered.
Jackson has taken an unofficial visit to Washington, but he claims he has no favorites.
The scouting report on Jackson is either side of the ball he’s the total package. On offense he’s a triple threat. He can run, block and catch. On defense, he’s a physical lockdown cover corner.
In an earlier interview with Rivals.com, Pasco head coach Steve Graff said this about his talented two-way star.
“Leon has all the tools to play on the next level. Everybody has already written him.”
“Leon is a great kid,” Graff said. “He has some work to do in the classroom. He has a good chance to qualify, but he will have to work.”
“Anytime Leon touches the ball, he can score,” Graff said. “He is that darn fast and good.”
