Junior to Watch: Brett Thielke

Position: Offensive Tackle/Defensive Tackle
Size and Speed: Brett stands 6-foot-5, weighs 285 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 5.4 seconds. Thielke benches 285 pounds, squats 500 pounds and has a vertical jump of 26-inches.
Statistics: N/A.
Honors: Brett was an all-area and all-county selection his junior year.
Favorite Schools: The entire Pac 10, Colorado, Boston College, Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida and Northwestern are just a few the schools looking at Brett. Thielke is keeping his options open, but lists Washington, Oregon, Stanford, Cal, Michigan and Notre Dame as his current favorites.
The Skinny: Brett is one of the best offensive line prospects in the Northwest this season. Though he's a standout on both sides of the ball as an offensive tackle and defensive tackle, he projects as an offensive tackle on the collegiate level.
The scouting report on Brett is that he is a big guy with quickness and outstanding footwork. Thielke is an excellent technician and moves well for his size. Brett plays for a passing team and is well adept as a pass blocker, he also pretty good as a run blocker…
