Northwest DB heating up

Safety/corner/wide receiver Cody Arp (6-0, 170, 4.5) from Kent (Wash.) Kentlake is one to watch as things appear to heating up on the recruiting trail for the talented athlete from the great northwest.
As a junior, Arp accounted for 60 tackles and two interceptions while he primarily played safety. He's going to add wide receiver to his list of duties for his senior season.

Both instate schools; Washington and Washington State have come the school this spring to inquire about him. Oregon, Oregon State and Boise State are also showing interest in Arp.
"I was invited by Boise State to attend their camp," Arp said. "I will be going down there to participate in their camp.
"I have also been invited to the Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State camps, but I can't attend those they are the same time I'll be at Boise State," Arp said. "I'm also going to UDub's (Washington) camp and NIKE's Camp in Eugene."
Arp is mostly being recruit as a defensive back. In the weight room, Arp's current bench is 240 and he has recorded a 31-inch vertical jump.
The scouting report on Arp is he's a hard worker and very coachable. He has a high football IQ and is a very intelligent football player with excellent ball skills.
What is Arp looking for in a University?
"Good academics will be key," Arp said. "I would prefer to stay in state and would like to attend a school with a strong tradition, with good coaches and where I would fit in."
