Junior to Watch: Charles Clark
School: Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay

Position: Safety and Wide receiver
Size and Speed: Clark is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds. He has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.5 seconds and has a 34-inch vertical jump.
Honors: Clark was selected to the all-county and all-conference teams as a junior.
Statistics: On offense, Clark rushed the ball 65 times for 450 yards. He also caught 20 passes for 400 yards. On defense, he made 82 tackles and 3 interceptions. All of these stats were in his junior season.
Favorites: Clark has Arkansas and South Florida out front followed by Central Florida, North Carolina State and Louisiana State.
Skinny: Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay is the home of one of the versatile athletes in Northeast Florida. Charles Clark did it all for the Clay high Blue Devils. He played running back, wide receiver and safety as a junior. His ability to play all over field has gotten him noticed by several college scouts.
“I’m getting mail from schools all over the place,” Clark said. “Right now Arkansas and South Florida are my favorites because of their coaches. I also like Central Florida, North Carolina State and Louisiana State.”
Clark does the little things to set his game apart from the rest of the pack. He pays attention to detail.
“I’m a student of the game,” Clark said. I learn all of the plays and study the opponent’s defenses real well. I also run good routes and have good hands.”
This summer Clark and some of his teammates will attend the South Florida football camp.
