North Clayton has two in 2008

College Park (Ga.) North Clayton is home to two 2008 athletes according to head coach Don Shockley. Shockley met up with Rivals.com to go in-depth about his star juniors.
The first is 6-foot-0, 180-pound safety Ed Nden.

"We went to Nike Camp and everyone was really impressed with him," he said. "They actually thought he was a different player. I believe he could have started for anybody.
"On the field, he can Edward can run really well and has a knack for the ball. He has good instincts, but still needs to work on his ability in open space. I think he could grow into an outside linebacker position with his instincts.
"He's also a solid kid and honor student with a 3.7 GPA. He'll have no problem qualifying."
Meanwhile, his teammate 5-foot-10, 160-pound wide receiver Damond Cooper is also one to watch.
"He's a junior national champion track guy that is gifted with a lot of speed," he said. "A lot of people tell me he's a football guy that runs track instead of the other way around. He has to still get better with his hands, but runs good routes and has solid leaping ability. I think he's got tremendous upside and is still young in the game.
"Off the field, he's a good kid with a solid 2.7 GPA. He's a yes sir no sir type of kid that comes from a great family background. He grew up in Ohio and is a big Ohio State fan."
Currently both players are receiving interest from schools in the SEC.
