North Chicago safety is one to watch
North Chicago (Ill.) junior safety prospect Bruce Cabell (5-foot-11, 190 pounds) is yet another prospect to watch for the Warhawks from the Class of 2006. Cabell, who played inside linebacker in his 2004 junior season, has the makings of a standout strong safety prospect. Have the colleges started to take notice?
"I've been getting a decent amount of mail," Cabell said. "Northern Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Kent State, Bowling Green and a few other Big Ten schools have been sending me steady mail."

Cabell is also planning to check out a handful of spring events over the next few weeks.
"I'm planning to check out a spring practice at Northwestern soon. I'm also planning to make an unofficial visit to Minnesota on March 31st. I'm also going to check out a spring practice at Northern Illinois in a few weeks."
Cabell has been working hard this off season getting ready for spring and summer camps.
"I'm definitely heading to the Nike Camp at Michigan in May. I'm also thinking about camping at Bowling Green and a few more schools this summer, but I really haven't decided on any summer camps just yet."
