North Carolina OT takes in NC State junior day

Wilmington (N.C.) New Hanover offensive tackle C.J. Brown was one of many visitors to North Carolina State last weekend. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder had an enjoyable time in Raleigh.
"It was a pretty good visit, although a little long," he said. "Basically the coaches just talked to us for a bit and I got to tour around the campus. I talked to the offensive line coach and he mostly was being informational with me which was good."

The week before, Brown made a trip to East Carolina.
"I went to their junior day a week ago," he said. "They've got a pretty good academic school and were big on that. It was very informational too and I liked the weight room program."
In the near future, the Tar Heel State prospect plans to make trips to Duke and Virginia. Do any colleges stand out at this time?
"I don't really have a favorite, but I do like State a lot," he said. "I also grew up a big fan of Notre Dame. If they came in by chance, that would be crazy and really big for me."
With a variety of schools looking at him, what does Brown want out of a college?
"I want somewhere I can get my major in business," he stated. "I also want a good weight room and program that can win a national championship. Location will depend on how good the school is."
Later this month the North Carolina lineman plans to attend the Shrine Bowl combine.
