North Carolina has been working on building momentum in this 2018 recruiting class and they took a big step in the right direction with the commitment of Rivals250 wide receiver Dyami Brown on Tuesday. The Charlotte (N.C.) West Mecklenburg star had been leaning towards picking a school close to home.
Brown released a top five Tuesday morning and has issued his verbal commitment to the Tar Heels. Brown was also considering Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, and Virginia Tech.
RIVALS' REACTION
Brown is a big-time downfield threat and does a great job taking the top off of defenses. He has the speed to score from anywhere on the field and has reliable hands. The Tar Heels have been trying to add more playmakers on offense and Brown should be able to help early in his career.
