North Carolina ATH has two in-state offers

Two colleges have already offered 5-foot-10, 183-pound athlete Darius Spencer. The Asheville (N.C.) A.C. Reynolds star holds scholarships from two in-state schools.
"I've got offers from East Carolina and North Carolina State," he said. "North Carolina State offered me last semester and ECU was a few months ago.

"I don't know a lot about either of those programs. I haven't been down to visit the colleges."
While he hasn't visited his offers, Spencer has taken a trip to Chapel Hill.
"I went there two weeks ago for spring practice," he said. "I like them a lot. I met Butch Davis and everyone on the team is hard working. I think I could play down there with them."
Meanwhile, one college is an early favorite for the Carolina star.
"I've been a fan of Tennessee since I was younger," he stated. "They've got a really big stadium and I had a teacher who was a big fan of the college. That got me a lot more interested in them and I think that's where I'd go if they offered me."
Recently Spencer attended the Nike Camp in Athens.
"I did pretty well," he said. "I did pull my groin there, but I came back and finished strong. There was a lot of talent, but I think I stood out a lot by running and catching the ball. I did well in one on ones with the linebackers."
Spencer plans to attend the combine in Charlotte in May. He's also looking at camps to North Carolina State, Clemson and East Carolina in June.
