Miami (Fla.) Norland linebacker Garrett White is a thick linebacker, who makes play after play. He has the size for inside linebacker and the speed and agility of an outside linebacker.
“Right now I have offers from Pittsburgh, Akron, South Florida and LSU,” White said. “The offer from LSU is a verbal one though. I am hearing a lot from Miami and some other schools right now too.”
White comes at 6-foot-2, 223 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. He helped lead Norland deep into the playoffs as a junior.
“I have pretty much narrowed it down to three schools at this point,” White said. “Really the only schools I am looking at are South Florida, LSU and Miami and that is about it. I would say they are all pretty equal.”
During his junior campaign White collected 85 tackles, recovered six fumbles and posted eight sacks.
“I want to take all of my visits before I make any kind of decision,” White said. “I am looking for a school that offers me a good education and a good team where I can win a championship.”
