NorCal WR has two on top

Granite Bay (Calif.) wing back Devon Wylie is one of the most explosive players in the state this year. Wylie is off to a very strong start to his senior season and is sitting on a trio of scholarship offers at this time.
Wylie, 5-9, 175 pounds had a solid junior season with over 1,000 all purpose yards and then caught our eye at the NIKE Camp at Stanford. The athlete clocked a 4.53 in the 40 (top five in the camp) to go with a 4.31 in the shuttle and 35 inch vertical jump.

Wylie is being recruited to play receiver but he gets as many touches carrying the ball in the Grizzlies wing-t offense. He got his season off to a flying start when he scored on a 92 yard touchdown on the first play of the season.
A week ago, Wylie had 176 yards on just 14 carries and three more scores and then caught six passes for 116 yards and added 64 yards rushing and a touchdown this past weekend for the 3-0 Grizzlies.
On the recruiting front, Wylie has three offers and could be close on a fouth.
"I've gotten calls this month from Washington, Fresno State, Oregon State, Utah, Wyoming, Cal and New Hampshire," Wylie said. "Fresno State, Wyoming and New Hampshire had all offered and Utah sounds very interested in doing something as well.
"Right now, I really like Cal and Fresno State a lot, those are my top two. I definitely want to take visits to both but I haven't set up any of my trips yet. I know I want to take all five but I want to wait until December because I don't want to take them during our season.
"Oregon State and Utah are two others I like a lot that I want to visit and I'm just going to keep that last trip open. The main things I'm looking for in a school are what kind of offense the team runs as well as the location. I want to play in a passing offense and I would also like to stay close to home, those are probably the two main things I'm looking for right now."
Academically, Wylie is carrying a 2.9 GPA and he'll take the SAT in October.
