NorCal two-way standout heating up

There is another on athletic big man appearing on the recruitnek radar screen. This player has tremendous upsides and the big guy has the talent to play on either side of the ball on the collegiate level. This outstanding athlete is hearing from the Pac-10 and some Big 12 teams.
The player in question is defensive tackle/offensive lineman Isaac Leatiota (6-4, 295, 4.85) from Santa Clara (Calif.) Wilcox.

Leatiota could be on the Westwood campus this weekend for UCLA's one-day camp.
This talented prospect has the ability to play on either side of the ball on the D-I level. He prefers to play on the defensive side of the ball and defensive tackle is the position that UCLA is recruiting for.
Pac-10 foe the Cal Bears think he would be an outstanding offensive guard but they will let the young man start out his career at any position that he wants. Leatiota has that type of ability.
Besides UCLA and Cal; USC, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State and Nebraska are showing sincere recruiting interest in Leatiota.
The scouting report on Leatiota is he is very strong and explosive. On the offensive side of the ball he is brutally mean and pancakes all in his way.
On the defensive side of the ball he can't be handled by one player.
"Isaac is one of the quickest big guys I have ever seen," Wilcox coach Woody Freitas said. "When we cut him lose he's impossible to handle one-on-one."
"We ran a pretty base defense last year," Freitas said. "This season we are going to put him in fronts that will better showcase his talent, speed and overall quickness."
"Isaac is a very disciplined player and very coachable," Freitas said. "He also has a nasty streak on the field but is a great young man off the field."
