NorCal TE has two offers

El Dorado (Calif.) Union Mine tight end Dallin Rogers is one of the top tight ends in Northern California and he's getting the calls and attention to prove it.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder has a frame like a receiver and could even play the position some in college, but he likes to think of himself as a big-time offensive player with a different mentality.

"I'm an offensive player with a defensive frame of mind," Rogers, who said his best 40-yard dash time is 4.85 seconds, said.
When you look at Rogers' family tree, it's no surprise that he's a highly regarded prospect. His father played defensive line at Stanford and in the NFL. His mom played volleyball in college, his grandfather played professional baseball at Washington State and his uncle played quarterback at Stanford. Heck, even his sister is going to BYU on a volleyball scholarship.
Rogers definitely had a good junior season. He had 62 receptions for 1,107 yards and seven touchdowns. He also had 48 solo tackles, 32 assists, 11 sacks and three fumble recoveries. That allowed him to earn second-team all-CIF, all-Norcal and all-league honors as a junior.
Early on he has offers from San Jose State and Sacramento State. He got May calls from Yale, Wyoming, Vanderbilt, Utah, UNLV, Stanford, USC, Cal-Davis, Cal, Brown, Boise State, Arizona, Oregon State, San Jose State and Sac State.
"My top six would be Utah, BYU, Stanford, Cal, Boise State and Arizona," he said. "I'm going to be looking for a school that has a family feel to it."
