NorCal QB still playing the waiting game

Quarterback Mcleod Bethel-Thompson has been one of the top quarterbacks in the NorCal area for the last three years. He had another strong season this past year but is still waiting for his first scholarship offer.
Bethel-Thompson, 6-4, 200 pounds from San Francisco (Calif.) Balboa threw for 1,980 yards and 19 touchdowns a year ago and had another nice year as a senior. The signal caller threw for 1,800 yards and 20 touchdowns this year to earn league player of the year honors. Still the recruiting attention has been a little slow for a player his coach at Balboa called the best quarterback prospect to come out of San Francisco since Dan Fouts.

"No one has offered me yet but I've had some schools come in for home visits," Bethel-Thompson said. "Colorado, Colorado State, Idaho State, Princeton and Brown have all come in. I haven't scheduled any official visits yet but I'm hoping to take them all in January.
"Right now, I really don't have a leader or anyone who stands out. I don't have a preference in terms of staying close to home or playing in the Ivy League. I'm just going to sit back and take things slow and hope for the best. The visits all went good and I think I know more about each of the schools now but until someone offers, there really isn't too much to get excited about."
