NorCal LB getting the job done

Rivals.com first caught a glimpse at linebacker/running back Seann Reed (6-1, 205, 4.7) from Crescent City (Calif.) Del Notre during the dog days of summer at the Beyond 2000 Elite camp. Reed was one of the sleepers at the camp who caught everyone's eye.
Since then Reed has helped his team post a perfect 8-0 record and shot at the league championship a week from tomorrow night against Eureka, Calif.

On the defensive side of the ball, Reed has racked 118 tackles and has recovered one fumble.
Though Reed is getting the job done on both sides of the ball, he is being recruited for his defensive skills.
Reed has one offer on the table from Cal State-Sacramento and he is receiving phone calls from Oregon, Oregon State, Wyoming, Utah State and Nevada has been calling.
Reed has taken one unofficial visit to Oregon State earlier in the season when the Beavers played Boise State.
"Oregon State is pretty cool," Reed said. "I liked the whole atmosphere of Corvallis."
"I like how the town revolves around the college and they are devoted to football."
Reed has been talking to both Nevada and Wyoming about taking official visits.
Reed is a three-sport letter winner (football, basketball and baseball) and put up good numbers at the Nike Camp despite participating with a high ankle sprain. He is a two-time Big 5 All-Conference honoree who never comes off the field, playing offense, defense and special teams.
