NorCal DL looks like a big time prospect

Traditionally, one of the top schools for producing Div I players in California every year is Sacramento (Calif.) Grant. This year, Grant is loaded and could have at least five sure fire prospects including one of the state's best defensive lineman, Christian Tupou.
Tupou, 6-3, 260 pounds had a big junior season earning league lineman of the year, 1st team all conference, all-metro and all-state underclass honors. The athlete finished the year with 89 tackles and 16 sacks and will likely be recruited at the national level.

"I definitely think he's national recruit," Grant coach Mike Alberghini said. "He's so strong and physical and has a great attitude. He's a great player and a great student as well."
On the recruiting front, Tupou has been hearing from the Pac 10 as well as Miami, Notre Dame, Harvard and has an offer from Sacramento State.
"If I had to name a top five right now, it would be Miami, USC, Florida State, Notre Dame and Cal," Tupou said. "I grew up liking the teams in Florida and was actually a big Florida State fan. I'm open now though and I just want to find a place that is a good fit both athletically and academically."
The rush end is currently carrying a 3.8 GPA and said he would like to major in Engineering. He'll attend the NorCal Nike camp in May but is unsure abut the rest of his summer camp plans.
