NorCal ATH likes five

Oakland (Calif.) McClymonds athlete Rico Thomas is having a solid senior season and is hoping it pays off with a few more scholarship offers. Thomas has one visit lined up and has a few other schools he wants to visit as well.
Thomas, 5-10, 165 pounds plays both running back and safety and was a big reason the Warriors ended their losing streak to Los Angeles city teams at three after beating Crenshaw this past weekend 14-8. Thomas had close to 100 yards rushing and also had a huge hit on Crenshaw standout receiver Tyquan Know that knocked him out of the game.

On the recruiting front, Thomas has a handful of offers but hasn't picked up any new ones since the season started.
"It's still the same schools," Thomas said. "Utah, Utah State, San Diego State, UNLV and Nevada. I'm going to visit San Diego State (Nov. 18), that's the only visit I have set up so far. I like Oregon and Washington State a lot too and I'm hoping to get something set up with those two schools. UNLV and Nevada are a couple of others I would like to visit, those are probably my top five right now."
