Noonan schedules first official

Ardmore (Pa.) Saint Joe's defensive tackle Charlie Noonan has scheduled his first official visit for December 10th. Who is the 6-foot-2, 252-pounder decided on for the trip?
"I've set up my visit with Rutgers," he said. "I was there a few weeks back during the week for an unofficial and it was a good visit. I really liked my time there and the fact that all the coaches were straightforward.

"I'm hoping to see what every day life and a regular day is like on campus at all the schools I got to for official visits. Besides that I just want to check out the defenses too."
Noonan plans to take officials to Indiana, Toledo and Colorado State as well. He just picked up the offer from the Rams in the last couple weeks.
"Colorado State would be pretty cool as I'd get to go out there," he said. "I've got to see it for myself, but it would be something different. I've talked to the defensive line coach a lot and he sounds pretty excited about their program."
One other school the two-star prospect may still receive an offer from is Northwestern.
"I've been talking to them a lot and I know they liked my tape," he said. "I know the academics there are great and I'd love to be in Chicago. They also have a great program that I could join."
Noonan has been an important factor in Saint Joe's successful season.
"I've been playing very well this year as I've got six sacks," he said. "I'm very happy with how I've played. I can tell I'm a lot bigger, stronger and faster.
"This week we've got a big game against Cardinal O'Hara. It means everything to me to win the game this week as they beat us last year in a low scoring game where we made some bad mistakes."
