Non-stop ringing for Texas athlete

Houston (Texas) Westside athlete R.J. Jackson had calls beginning early and they’ve been going non-stop.
“Oh my God, it’s been crazy,” the 6-foot, 197-pound Jackson said. “Oklahoma State was first and Texas was just after them this morning when I got up. Then tonight it’s been Florida, Georgia, Tulane, Colorado, LSU, Arkansas and I know I’m leaving some out. It has been pretty much all night.”

Jackson said the calls have been nice, but nothing new really has come up.
“Nothing new, it’s the same old same old. But, it is nice to hear from them. I know why they are calling, since they can. I’ve talked to Florida for a bit about an official visit. I’m trying to set up one with them sometime in January, either the 7th or the 14th. Nothing is set yet.”
Jackson is preparing for his first action of the year.
“Our first game is Friday. We’re looking forward to it. I’m ready to get on the field and play.”
